We believe in maximum climbing experience and fun when it comes to climbing with your circle of friends.
Sport and Rock climbing is growing rapidly here in Singapore, with more than a dozen climbing gyms now being opened across Singapore and overseas.
Having a sport that deals with heights, comes with great risks of injury or even death.
Here in Climbodachi, we believe climbing grades (route difficulty) can be trained, but climbing and belaying skills and techniques must be taught. Therefore our focus is to provide the necessary skills and techniques you need to start your climbing experience with safety in mind. With proper skills and awareness, accidents can be prevented.
History of Climbodachi
Climbodachi is a climbing group started out back in mid 2015 with a small bunch of friends whom shared the same interest in climbing. Since 2016, the group organised trips to Batu Caves and Bukit Takun, a popular natural rock climbing site in Selangor, Malaysia over the weekend. There, we experience climbing on natural rock wall ranging from top roping, to the more adventurous multi pitching.
What does Climbodachi mean?
Climbodachi derives from the word ‘Climb‘ and ‘Tomodachi‘ which means ‘Friends‘ in Japanese. We believe in a non-competitive aspect of the sport by making friends and enable each climber to experience climbing to the highest extent possible. Our aim is to enrich climbing experiences on both sport and natural wall without compromising safety.

A climber battling with ankylosing spondylitis. Using the walls as his rehabilitation to mobility, as his medicine to daily pains, and as his inspiration to be climb-abled, and never be disabled.
Started out once a Speed Climber, to competitive Boulderer, and now scaling new heights with multi-pitch climbing. Fahmi is always on the frontlines. Strive to educate climbers not only in belaying and climbing skills, but on the safety aspects of the sport. Preventing future climbing accidents through education and knowledge sharing.
This globetrotter has travelled to 37 countries (and counting) and climbed on various types of crags such as the Quartzite rocks of Mount Arapiles, Australia and the wicked limestone caves of Thailand and Malaysia. Her favourite climbing site to date is the legendary rock forest of Hatun Machay, Peru where huge volcanic towers shoot out of the ground and go on for miles.
Azlinda is the editor behind our awesome climbing trip videos and our Branding specialist. Azlinda’s favourite holds are crimps (ouch!) and her favourite kind of rock surface is Limestone which explains why she continually returns to the limestone mecca of Batu Caves and Bukit Takun.
Her favourite part of climbing is Multipitch. So, join her in one of her multipitch climbs or sign up for top rope and lead climbing courses with her.
